Before booking and attending any course at ULearnDIY you must read and agree to the following:-

 

Payments:

All courses must be paid in full at the time of booking. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Rescheduling/cancellation to courses can be made 48 hours prior to the course start date.

 

Cancellations and Changes: 

If you have booked a course and decide to cancel your booking prior to 48 hours before the course start date, a full refund will be given. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a £50 administration fee.

If you are unable to attend your course and notify us within 48 hours of the course start date, you can re-book on to another course dependent on availability.
 

Trainees are responsible for assessing their own physical and learning suitability for the course. ULearnDIY reserves the right to refuse acceptance of bookings at any time before or during the course where a trainee's attendance may seem unsuitable or impact the ability of ULearnDIY to provide a safe and high level of service.

 

Trainees must provide suitable safety work wear and safety boots suitable for work in a construction area. Clothing will become heavily soiled, it is advised to bring a spare pair of clothes for transport home.

 

Trainees must adhere to given Health and Safety guidelines and use safety equipment provided by ULearnDIY. ULearnDIY cannot be held responsible for loss, injury or damage incurred by trainees as result of attending or visiting ULearnDIY.

Potential trainees can visit the training centre via prior appointment. Please get in contact to arrange a suitable time. 

 

The activities conducted at ULearnDIY present the similar risk of injury as any construction site and DIY project at home. Courses involve use of dangerous equipment and machinery, lifting and reaching. ULearnDIY will not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage as a result of visiting ULearnDIY or attending the courses.

 

Trainees have the right to refuse to partake in any activity. No refund is available.

 

Each trainee attends at their own risk. Consult your doctor if in doubt about your physical suitability for any of the courses.

 

Pictures are taken of trainees whilst attending their courses, solely for the purpose of student memorabilia, marketing and media. Please make ULearnDIY aware if you do not want to have your photograph taken whilst attending your course.

 

Fees paid are for the use of ULearnDIY facilities, tools and materials only.

 

Course dates may be changed by ULearnDIY without notice. The school will not be responsible for loss or damage as a result of changed dates. Alternative dates will be offered where courses are cancelled by ULearnDIY for whatever reason.

 

ULearnDIY reserves the right to refuse any application before or during the course.

 

ULearnDIY cannot guarantee the level of skill each individual will attain during or after the course.

 

ULearnDIY reserves the right to change course content without notice.

 

In the event of a cancellation of the course by ULearnDIY part way through the course you will be offered a place on the next available course or a prorata refund will be offered for the outstanding proportion of the course.

 

ULearnDIY will not be held responsible for associated costs or losses as a result of cancellations or changes. Including but not limited to earnings, travel costs, accommodation costs etc.

 

ULearnDIY reserves the right to withdraw any promotion, offer or discount.
